Hearst Castle

Hearst Castle is named after the its owner William Randolph Hearst. It was designed by Julia Morgan. The “castle” sits on a 127 acres property and contains 56 bedrooms and 19 sitting rooms. The grounds are fantastic with the Neptune pools being the main highlight. This is a must visit site if you are traveling anywhere close to San Luis Obispo.

The weather started to get bad while were at the Hearst Castle and never really gave up until we flew back home a few days later. This did not effect our itinerary just my photo ops 🙁 I wish I had better weather at this location. I could easily spend the whole day walking the grounds.
